Ideas to increase the IQ of your kids at home

The best part of growing up is learning and doing stuff.

When you were younger, you were probably not as smart as your brother or sister. You probably weren’t even aware of your IQ, and maybe it didn’t matter. But if you’re like most people, as you’ve got older, your IQ has been on a steady rise, and you now know much more than you did when you were younger.

So as you’re thinking about what to do with your kids when they’re little, you may want to consider increasing their IQ, or at the very least, you may want to get them ready for life with some IQ-boosting ideas. Here are five of them:

Give them more time in school

While some schools are better than others, there is no denying that some are worse than others. In particular, some schools lack the support staff to help them and in other cases, teachers don’t seem to care about student achievement. As a result, you might find yourself with a child who isn’t getting any help in school.

You may just get your kid to a better school that will help them learn, but if you can’t do that, you could look into taking your kid out of school for a year or two. You may be tempted to think that they’ll get bored, but what’s the fun of that? Instead, you could take your kids out of school, and set them up for worksheets for kids online.

Help them learn to do their own thing

Of course, most kids grow up knowing how to do a lot of things and one of them is making sure their bedroom is neat. But as they get older, they need to learn how to do other things for themselves. For example, they need to learn how to iron their shirts and do their laundry.

But this is a good time for parents to talk about how they learned these things and how important it is for kids to learn how to be independent. You could encourage your kids to do their laundry because they’ll learn the importance of doing chores, which will help them to develop their work ethic in other areas.

Help them learn how to work

If you’re going to encourage your kids to learn how to do their laundry, you’ll want to help them learn how to get their work done. After all, if they’re spending time helping their mom or dad clean up the house, that means they’re not doing their work. So when you’re setting up worksheets for kids online, you need to be sure they’ll learn to do their work, and that could mean giving them a project, task, or chore to do.

For example, if you’re having your kids do their laundry, you may set them up to pick up trash around the house. That way they’ll learn how to do their work and they’ll get the satisfaction of knowing that they’re contributing to the household. If you don’t want to have your kids do the actual laundry, you could hire a childcare agency or make it a reward for doing their homework or other chores.

Encourage them to read and learn

One of the best ways to increase your kid’s IQ is to encourage them to read and learn. Most kids can learn by watching and doing, but if you want to help them learn more, you should help them read and learn by making sure they have worksheets for kids online. After all, reading and learning are good for them and they can use the skills they learn to help them when they grow up.

You may be worried that your kids will read too much and get bored. But you could find out how much your kids are reading and how long they’re reading for. You might be surprised at how much they’re reading and if you’re happy, you could talk about that. But even if your kids aren’t reading much, you could encourage them to read and get them ready for the future.
